Anyone who has been keeping on eye on the Canadian music scene has no doubt heard of PEI natives, Paper Lions. Formerly known as “The Chucky Danger Band,” Paper Lions have recently released their EP, “Trophies” and are currently doing an artist residence here in Toronto at The Supermarket in Kensington every Wednesday, testing out new material for their next release. If you dig bands like Two Hours Traffic, Rheostatics, and Said The Whale, or artists like Joel Plaskett, I’m sure you’ll fall in love with Paper Lions, just like I did.
