I’m sure we are starting to feel au fait with pop-up cinemas in unusual locations, but if you haven’t heard of this project then it’s worth checking out. This summer – navigating the waterways of east London through the five Olympic host boroughs – is a floating cinema conceived by Somewhere artists Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie, and architecture practice Studio Weave. They have transformed a narrowboat into an elegant, linear cinema as these pictures show – but is this the start of Pimp My Ride for the river boat community?
